All our lambs are born in Denmark and run around in open fields in spring, summer and autumn. The sheep mostly give birth naturally, and the lambs are free to suckle when they want to. Our lambs mainly graze in lowland areas. Here, they eat the grass and herbs that grow naturally. If the animals need to come indoors for a while for better protection, they can look forward to an open loose-housing shed with deep straw bedding. The same applies in the winter months.
Welfare to the very end
Naturally, all our animals are under daily supervision, whether they are running free on pasture or indoors on deep straw bedding. The lambs travel for no more than two hours when they go to slaughter. They are driven directly and only together with the animals and people they know from the farm and the field where they grew up.
